Slow acceleration, oil on plugs

Hey everyone,

Its my first time here so i appreciate any help i can get. I have an 04 6spd coupe that I've had for a few months now. Bought it with bad knock sensor harness and after fixing it it ran great. Now it's feeling sluggish. Pulled the plugs and changed them and found oil on the threads. Since then I've been watching my oil consumption it hasn't been that bad. I also feel like I have poor acceleration. If I'm in 1st and I mash the throttle the rears won't even burn out like they used to (If I modulate the clutch they still burn). Any ideas what it could be? No codes on the dash and my obd2 scanner doesn't show anything or have any pending codes. Need help!!

Was oil in the spark plug tubes, or on the spark plug threads to clarify where the issue might be.

Also - are all 6 cylinders firing like normal?

Doesn't seem like any cylinder is misfiring based on the way it drives. An inspection of the old spark plugs doesn't give any indications of misfire either. The oil was on the threads of the plug. It's strange because there was a little bit of oil in the tubes (likely valve cover gasket) but I don't think that would cause oil on the threads. The plugs did seem like they were too loose for spec, so maybe that let oil seep past the seal from the top where it was leaking from the tubes? Definitely wasn't a big leak in the tubes tho and there was lots of oil on the threads.
