Found my parasitic draw, how to fix issue?
Found my parasitic draw, how to fix issue?
I was installing my dash cam when I noticed my power outlet in the centre console didn’t light up. I checked the fuses and noticed the 15 fuse was blown. I placed a new one in and plugged in my dash cam and after 3 days, my car wouldn’t start. Decided to exchanged for a new AGM battery thinking my old battery wasn’t strong enough to power all the after market electronic components installed in my car. That battery died in just 1 night so I did some investigating to find my fuse for the power outlet blown again. I decided to unplug the fuse and jump start my car and so far it’s been running with no issues for battery drainage.
Now what should I start testing/repairing as I guess it’s related to the circuit for the power outlet fuse?

So an update..
I noticed my car barely started this morning but later on during the day it was starting fine. So I actually went and decided to double check to see what the current draw on my battery with a multimeter. Oddly enough, my amps shown on my the multimeter were very inconsistent. Lowest I've seen it touch was 0.88amps and sometimes it would spike to 1.9amps whenever I would readjust the leads. 1.9 would gradually dip down and avg 0.9 amps without removing any fuses in the process. I've checked all fuses inside the car as well as the ones near the battery.
*notes*
I do have an aftermarket stereo system with its own battery component for its subwoofer and amp. There is also a crackles and a loud popping noise coming from the speaker system after 3-4 seconds when I turn off the car, I believe it happened after I had to jump start the car. Really debating on just getting a mechanic/car audio tech to deal with these electronic issues since they have the best knowledge and tools to find these problems.

Had to drive the car today and wanted to double check the voltages of the battery to see what the drainage got the battery to. Measured at 11.1 volts and the car miraculously started yet barely. This surprised me because I thought at that amount, it would virtually be impossible to even start at all.
