Hi, my alias is riccovq. This is my first ever g35 build, and also first post here! Don’t beat me up too bad!!Anyways,
New skyline v35 03 6mt Japan import to Melb Aus. 80,000kms (49k miles). (VQ35DE)
Wanted to create a nice, clean, 300-330whp build for the next 2-3 ish years of driving. I’m aware it’s hard, It probably needs a little more than just bolt ons but I’m more than willing to give it a go!!
ok more context. My budget is around 4-5k. It already has an empire cat back exhaust, with cat delete pipes too. Ontop of this a plenum spacer that came with the car when I bought it.
It has been tuned for pop and bangs, and also for the exhaust, plennum spacer and cat delete .
last owner reckons it was dyno’d at 250 whp… idk if it’s true, but that sounds pre good to me lol.
the mods are def legit, but im not too convinced the 250whp part haha. Regardless, it’s all there and I’m happy with the mods as they’ve only been used for 3-4 thousand km’s, so I’ll keep em.
Also eventually I wanna either boost this or nitrous it 2-3 years down the track
Ok so the plan is so far
AFE takeda intake stage 2.
NWP 75mm throttle body
Thermal intake spacer with MREV2??
Non stop tuning lightweight full pulley kit
My guess is that all this will make roughly 260-280 ish whp all together maybe not even. Only thing I might change to make more power is the exhaust. I’d rather go w m1 motorsports or sum else completely tbh.
First question I guess, if I had to make a start on changing the engine. What should I do first? How should I go about it?
Anyway as I said, my budget rn is about 4-5k. Please share your thoughts!
