It sound louder then stock, and it has a deep mean tight sound. One thing that I really like is that you don't hear the droning sound when crusing on the highways. IMO, one of the best sounding exhaust I've heard besides the NISMO exhaust.

Plus, the fitment of the exhaust was top quality. My friend and I did the installation and had no problem what so ever. Wish the instructions were a little bit better regarding which gasket and what bolts goes where, but with a little time we figured it out. All in all, this is a great HKS product.

 

Is that a silencer in there? how loud without the silencer?

 

There's no silencer . IMO, the sound is twice as loud then stock.

 

Hmm.... Mine is actually pretty quite at idle. Sound is deep and aggressive once you take-off. Cruising in highway sounds almost like stock, pretty quite, and no droning. IMO quiter than Stillen, Injen, and RSR exhaust.

Yes, it is pretty quite at idle. Sounds twice as loud then stock when you take off. Mine is a tad louder then stock when cruising highway.
