I know I may be beating a dead horse, but I recently discovered water in my driver and passenger footwell. I cleared out the sunroof drains with compressed air and they appeared to both be draining correctly, but because I was weary about it still not being fixed I put a tarp over my sunroof/windshield to prevent any more from getting in. I recently got some rain, and I still found more water only in my driver footwell despite having the tarp over where the common trouble area is. Has anyone had an issue with water leaking back into the car from the fender area somehow? The water seems to be localized on the floor pan only and not higher up behind the pedals.
