Seats in my 2006 coupe are great EXCEPT for the driver seat bottom. I've looked for solutions and this eBay replacement might be the best option for me. Has anybody else gotten this type of replacement seat skin? And where do I find the interior color code? (I think it's grey but I'm a bit color blind.) Thanks.

I purchased the black all leather (including the sides of the seat cover) for my 2004 Coupe. Was not an easy install. Had to transfer the seat heating element and the worn cushion onto the seat frame. Took a lot of stretching and moving but never looked as smooth as the original. If I had a new cushion it would have looked 100% better, but was unable to find one. My original seat cover surface was good, it was just the vinyl side trim that had cracked and looked really bad. It was over $300 from what I recall. I should have taken it to an upholstery shop to get it installed had I known how difficult it was, but couldn't afford to sink more money into it.

 

I ordered the bottom driver seat cover that I found on ebay. It's made in Houston, TX, all synthetic leather, nice quality/worksmanship, excellent color match, $170. The original seat cover is off now. I'm going to try to get the cushion repaired before I install the new cover. You can look into buying it directly from the source here, though the ebay price could be less:
