Went online and requested a quote for an 05 G35 Coupe 5AT/DG with Premium Package, Sports Package, and AeroKit/Spoiler options that is on the lot. Dealer gave me "Special" internet price of $35,996, the sticker price on the car is $37,800 and Inovice is $34,987. Is this a good deal? He says the offer is only good til March 20.
It is not bad, but heard lots of people got better deal
may be when you go in the dealer, you can negotiate more
what city and state are you from?
different state and city might have big difference on pricing too

That puts you at $1000 over invoice - a lot of poeple have been reporting doing better than that lately - especially on 5AT's. I would at least shop that price around a few other dealers if you have any close by. It's not a bad price I don't think but certainly not a steal.

I just got my '05 5AT LS coupe last month. Sticker was $36,730(prem, trunk mat, wheels/tires, splash, etc). I paid $33,800 ++. I got $2930 off of list, so using the same numbers you would be at $34,870. That would put it right near invoice.

Stylez, In my opinion I believe that is an okay price. I mean when your spending 37000 for a car what is $500. Its really not worth even having to go through the trouble of going to another dealer and negotiating. Really, to me thats a good price for you and good price for the dealer so both parties are happy. Plus no matter what people are saying on this forum you still did better than the majority. Dont waste your time looking elsewhere to get $500. My MSRP was 38,530 and I got them down to 36230 which again is 1000 over Inv. so Im happy with that. Again Im not worried about spending 500 more when im writing a check for 39,000 to them in a week. If your worried about that then buy a honda civic. Feel Me? "Holla Back" God I cant wait any longer this is killing me its torture i tell ya, and the ladies are going to be screamin' here in C-Town.
I agree that it's an okay deal. Depending on how your finances are, $500 may or may not be worth your time as stated above. Personally, if $1k over invoice was the first response you received, I don't mind spending half-an-hour to hour getting it $500 over invoice. If you're successful, you just earned $500 for an hour of work.
