I have a G35c a/t. I know alum pedals are avail for this car by seeing posts here and elsewhere.. But the question is, are these pedals for the a/t Infiniti products or after market. Or, are they the pedals from a 6mt and you do not use the clutch pedal. Seems my local Infinit parts guy is somewhat inexperienced in this area. I mean, does he just order the 6mt pedals for me and I will just have a pedal left. I am bringing my car in for its first oil service, installation of sat and splash guards. So, mayber I can have this done at the same time. Would appreciate advice on this. Thanks.

 

There is a Alum. Pedal kit for the G35 made by Nissan/Infiniti. It is the same kit used for the 350z from what I have seen. I beleive it's around $89 I think and should be available from any Nissan or Infiniti Dealer. There was a post a few weeks back by someone whom included the price and part number as well. Just search through the post topics for Aluminum Pedals and it should be there. I don't know if there is a separate kit for the 5AT without the clutch pedal though. Also if the dealer does it be aware that they will charge as much labor as possible so be carefull cause I don't know how long the install will take. Myabe if your closest Infiniti doesn't know you can also call Infiniti of Amercia and I'm sure they could get the part number as well. Good luck man. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

No...they're not standard.

Not all dealerships can order these parts...if your dealer can't get them...just order them online. I think strictlyz has them...I ordered mine from here:

I personally dont feel that the search feature is that user friendly. You cant just scrool through one thread so it becomes a pain in the a$$ to find what your looking for.

 

I had to make my own parking brake pedal, i have a few that i made from the same piece of aluminum , see my profile there is a picture there, it looks good!!

 

I think you can expand the thread by clicking on 'flat' after you've chosen a particualr post. ...dean
