Aftrbnr, you are right. The seats feel to high at the lowest setting. Feels like I'm in a mini-van. My biggest problem is the lack of lower back support. I need to find a way to add more padding to that part of the seat.

I don't usually get this emotional, but the seats SUCK! Too hard, too tight, too high, poor switch location, no motor for back tilt, and no memory. But they do LOOK good!

Sorry, but I love my seats. Very comfy. Maybe the G was custom made for me . I would agree with you on one thing - I wish the seats were lower profile, like in the Z. I just want my head to stick out of the window, and nothing else. Other than that, I love the seats and the leather!

Re: Am I the only one having issues with seats??

I am having much difficulty with my sedan seats. The car is great, and the best value out there, but this seat is the reason why. All engineering dollars went to the car, and the seats just an afterthought. My biggest complaint is the narrow width of the seat, with the right bolster by the seat controls. Dealer has performed the TSB to put padding on the metal frame that butts up against the padded bolster, but if anything, this just narrows the seat just a slight bit more. And the lumbar support is a joke -- height needs to be adjustable. Looking for good suggestions on modifying the right frame bolster.

Infiniti, please take note of BMW seats.

My seats feel fine... for a 6'3" frame, it's hard to find that. Memory feature is handy, but my only qualm is that the tilt motor is a tad slow. My favorite seats of any car I test-drove would be the C320. Soo form-fitting.

Another vote for "these seats suck".

I'm 6'-1" and 205 with wide hips.

The lumbar support is way to high to be useful.
I too feel like I'm in a mini-van. I didn't think I'd be looking Camry owners eye to eye in a sports car.
The biggest pain is in the side of my butt. Seems like there is a frame member that I press against that is causing the discomfort.
I also think the seat controls make the seat too narrow.

I tweaked on the seat for the first month that I had the car, and haven't found a great position.

I was thinking about taking it in for the TSB, but I'm not sure, since it seems to be the frame which is causing the problem. I also don't think the frame is going to spread out as the seat is broken in.

My guess is they didn't design the seat for people like me, just like the volume and temperature control being on the wrong side of the console.

Guess that's what we get for getting a re-badged Skyline.

Still, I love the car, but I'll have to wait for a dent to form in my butt before I try any cross-country treks.

Re: Am I the only one having issues with seats??

I have issues with these seats too. There's something very weird with the way the lower back and lumbar support is. They're not horribly uncomfortable, but they're not great either. They're very weird seats, and I've been trying to figure out what exactly it is. From what I can tell, the adjustable lumbar support is too high to be useful to the lower back. It like hits my mid back, not my lower back the way it should. Also, the angle between the seat back and the lower cushion, and the way it is shaped, kind of forces your butt to slide forward and slouch slightly, especially with the slippery leather. If you sit dead upright in the seat with your back firmly against the seat back, these seats are pretty comfortable - but the seats don't like to hold you in that position, and are constantly forcing you to slide forward and slouch again.

I do like the firmness of the seats though, I like the lateral bolster support, and they look nice.

Oh, and I'm 5'9 and 150 lbs. I'm a poster child for an average sized guy, so I should fit in these seats perfectly.
