Factory Coupe Spoiler Template???
Factory Coupe Spoiler Template???
Does anyone know where I can find one. My dealer doesn't do installs they farm that work out to someone else but you have to buy the spoiler from them. I'm getting mine from a different source and the template would be helpful for the install.
Thanks

I still have the instructions if you need those, I really do think you could do just as good a job without the template though...
mark the three bolt holes like I described... drill a hole only large enough for the bolt itself at first. That should let the spoiler lay flat on the trunk and you can see if you like that position. If you do then you can drill it out to the size specified in the instructions... 13/16" I think it was. Or you could adjust it a little either way since the holes you drilled are much smaller than the final hole will be.
One other tip... use a hole saw like the instructions say. I didn't. The drill bits made lots of little metal burrs on the inside of the hole and it prevented the snap grommet things from snapping into place nicely. I now understand why they wanted you to use a hole saw... prior to that I figured why spend the extra money to go buy a hole saw when I already have the correct size drill bit? Now I know.
