2005 rev light

Is there a way to turn off the rev light but still be able to use the shift light?

Do you mean the actual letters "REV" on the meter?

if you look in the manual, i believe you can adjust the rev light to indicate when to shift at whatever rpms you want. i think the warning light is pointless anyways because most ppl who drive stick do not need someone/something telling them when to shift.

Rev light

The manual tells you how to set the revs at which the light comes on. I guess if you want it off all the time you could just set to 8000 or something similar.

"REV" Letters can never be turned off. Only the light can be adjusted. You don't wanna see it, set it to max RPM. Simple as that. But regardless, the "REV" letters will always be on unless you dismantle your guage cluster, and take the LED out. Not worth it if ya ask me.

I never thought the REV letters were the smartest idea, but now I actually kinda like it. People are curious and ask what it's for, so I floor it and let them see the "shift" light too Too mad mine is still at 4k though!
