Its about like dropping the clutch in a manual I would guess. Of course you don't sit there doing this for long periods of time. As soon as the tree lights begin to light or right as the cross section light begins to turn red...Your not holding the revs up for much longer than a second. Drivetrain wise, its not like a high stall tq converter where I can stall up to 3,000 [although its on the list] so while it is not the healthiest thing for the drive train it doesn't do any immediate serious damage.

Overall I had no traction, Many of my times consisted of high 14s and even a 15. I would have the car in Drive and still bounce off the rev limiter in 1st because it was so bad. The problem was probably due to so many street cars being there bringing dust and such onto the track. Right before I ran a bike hand busted a chain and sent stuff flying all over the track and they had to clean/prep it again and thats when I got my best time.
Whats more interresting is that my friend in his 100% stock 350z got a 13.4 with a 1.6 60'...everyones jaw dropped and the ones that werent there to whitness call total BS. But all of his other runs were around a 13.9....he couldnt do it again - he ran right after me.....

Sounds like there was an error in the computer or something....NO way can a stock 350z get a 13.4.........i think the more surprising number is the 1.6 60' time, thats impossible for that car.
