I don't seem to have that squeak, but my clutch is very stiff (takes effort to engage it and hold it if needed).

Also, I just sat the other day in my co-worker's new 05' G, and his clutch is much lighter. When I depressed it, I almost punched a hole through the floor cause I'm used to my stiff clutch.

LOL!!!! That FAT B**CH tried to charge me $100 when I took the car in for the clutch the first time. I asked her what the hell she was charging me for, and she said for diagnosing the problem. I was pissed but I laughed and told her she didnt diagnose shi*t because they didnt open the G up or even put it on the rack!!!

I got my $100 back, and I'll never go to parkway again!!! Worst service ever, and the dumbest mechanics too!

YUP! Rick is taking care of me...Seems like a good guy. Though I'll reserve judgement until he fixes my clutch!

I know jayco posted the infiniti links for recalls and TSBs, but here is another one you can search any vehicle.

www.alldata.com is the site. Click the URL below and it'll take you right to the 03 coupe list.

True. But I'm still pissed off. I wouldn't mind as much if there were already chips and stuff that I caused. But they were new!

While they have it apart ask if you can have them put a new clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. IF they are taking out the trans already, they are only gonna charge an hour or two to do a clutch. Its better for you because its gonna be cheaper and its good insurence putting in a new clutch and its only gonna be in the shop once. Its better for them because if your clutch does go out soon then they dont have to pull the trans again.

Service department at Miller is pretty good. I went yesterday for an oil change and they loaned me an FX35 while my brakes where being done (2004 5AT sedan... warranty). I didn't need to ask (I guess it did help I bought my car from them)... but if they didn't have any available my office is walking distance from the dealership (who walks in LA?).

I got the car back yesterday and it feels BRAND NEW! Rick from Miller Infiniti (Van Nuys, California) really took care of me....

The problem ended up being the famous throw out bearing. I was also told that my G is one of the first to get the replacement part. They want me to drive it for a few weeks and let me know how it feels....So Far so good, the clutch is alot easier to push in.

Rick the service rep also said that a TSB will be coming out shortly for this problem.

Here is the part # of the new throw out bearing:
BEARING RELEASE - 30502 - 69F10

Im about to get a 6 M/T, 04 and im trading in an 04 A/T. I know this is an idiotic question but what exactly is a TSB? I think i get the general jist of it, Is it a problem that infiniti recognizes and will fix for you for a certain amount of millage? and If so is this TSB only coming out for that one part or for the whole manual transmission including the clutch flywheel etc etc. Thanks and sorry for the nubbness

Hmm... I think I may have to take in my 03 now. Sometimes (after the car has warmed up) its very hard to get into gear. Both on up shifts and down shifts. Its like there is something blocking the gate and I have to push/pull with a lot of effort to complete the shift... it happens far too often IMO. Any other 6MT guys have this happen?

Also, when I start it up and shut it down, there is a loud chattering coming from the tranny... Not sure if that's normal or not.
