I placed an order for my g35 coupe in 27th of FEB. I didn't get the VIN# until today i called the dealer many times he said nothing changed in the website.

 

A VIN is yours only when you sign papers, till then, its ANYONES car....your sales guy is just keeping an eye out for you and has your name on it, but he himself probably doesn't have a VIN yet.

 

I guess so, but when should i get it. 1 month left now

Ya can't do that without a VIN, against DMV regulations. Your dealer won't get a VIN until its almost at his door. This is to keep things from getting "reserved" and give everyone a fair chance, but on the bulliten board in the back, they know what cars with what options are coming, so they usually put your name down on it so that no other sales guy sales your car when a VIN is established.

 

i got my VIN when the car left japan.. thats when they send the VIN to the dealers

 

but in my vehicle detail. the production month is march/05

 

Thats a dealer no no, but it happens, and thats not ALWAYS the case nor is it the norm.
