Thumbs up Let er Rip!

My dealer said it was "micro polished" and needed no breakin at all. So I didn't. I didn't flog it, but, I didn't grannie it. 145 mile return trip to home. FM 239 out of Kenedy to Goliad. Never got below 90. I was rippin' it and the ol' lady was reading a book. Fast and confortable, that's what the G is all about!

Okay here is the link again, believe what you will, but I will say motorcycle engines have higer tolearances and higher pistion speeds than the VQ. They get 180BHP from a stock 1 liter motor. The motoGP bikes are 990cc and are getting over 220BHP.

I was told to keep it under 20 mph and 1000 rpms for the first 10000 miles.

did you use the G as a golf cart, on the course only?

what I did for break in was, first 1000 miles (below 65MPH and below 3K RPM) and next 200 miles (below 80MPH, and below 3K RPM) after that, get a oil change and do what ever you want with it..

but seems to me I'm getting less mile/gallon after break in... anyone having the same issue...

I was getting about 22/gallon with mostly highway before breakin and about 18/gallon now
