i just noticed my car rolls forward a little, like about an inch or so after i put the auto gear to P and step off the brake. i played around with it for few times and sometimes it's more noticeable than others. anyone else noticed this?

All automatic cars do this.

That's why you use your e-brake and it won't do that. Especially on hills if you let your car do the roll forward or backward (depending on your position on the hill) and then you shift from P you'll hear/feel a loud as$ "CLUNK"...that must not be good for the tranny.

the new 05 sedan automatics are really cool! at a stop on a steep hill, let go of the brakes and the car does not roll one bit!!!

yeah seems like you have more control of the e-brake when it's in your hand not your foot.

what's so different between the sedan's brake and the coupe's? aren't they suppose to be the same?

Yeah - that was one thing that bothered me about the car... And for someone who wears heels often, it is a pain!

I have an 04 coupe. I do use the e-brake, but it still does that in my garage once in a while. (And the tranny never clunks when I go to leave)
