I am at about $3500 in parts, have so far done all the work myself.
More than half of that is the exhaust (Headers, High Flow Cats, Full Cat Back Exhuast)

depends on the person.....some want more horsepower (well we all want that ), i mean the horsepower gain has to be "worth" the cost (theres that word again)......some want to add mods just for bragging rights........some add mods for looks.......some add mods to feel part of the G group......and some just like to mod the car for the satisfaction of accomplishment and learning something new.........

For me its the journey, My therapy, And its the feeling of a job well done when you do the installs yourself. Most of the mods work out to $100.00 per hp.

So far on the G, I have spent 3500 and maybe another 3500 if I get a SC in a few days ( depending on finding an installer)

Nothing compared to the 22,000 I spent on the VR4 which I still have.

I've decided not to answer this post in terms of dollar amounts (incase Mrs. Neffster happens to see this post ). I have resorted to buying slightly used mods, becoming the KP Technologies Research (crash test dummy) and doing other things to get mods at a discount.

Wheels/tires
z-tube
JWT P/C (sold), K&N pannel filter
Crawford plenum
Crawford headers
Crawford Billet Oil Cap
RT cats (gave away to a good friend), Crawford cats
JIC y-pipe
clear bra
aluminum pedals
painted side mirror holders
TEIN H-Techs for the 350z (alignments and soon to be rear camber arms and another alignment )
KP tech window roll up module
KP tech VDC module
KP tech shift light module (in testing)

Sad part is that I'm probably missing a few mods.

Neff - you must not be explaining the hods correctly to Mrs. Neff....

Though I don't specify how much a given costs, my wife knows I enjoy working on the car to clear my mind from work....

with the current gas prices ($2.85 where am) I have announced all of my mods as 'flow' mods which help gas mileage

Now this is true... of coiurse I am not very good at keeping my oor out of the pedqal...

Neff,
I'm with you man! My wife still thinks I'm golfing once a week, but I haven't swung my clubs in five months (hmmm, I bought my G - five months ago). Answer - too much!!!
