Previous RSX Type S owners?

Even though the G doesn't have "VTEC"...it has continuous variable valve timing control which is pretty much the same. The only reason you feel the surge from VTEC is because the engine at that RPM is starting to "breathe" better. When you run hard, you breathe hard....whereas in the G's case...you walk or run, but you're always breathing.

Yeh, I was waiting for the RSX-R for 2 years, but Acura came back with
some sh*t upgrade instead of the TypeR which really dissappointed...
so decided to go with the Cooper-S instead. Ive been a Honda fan for a
long time and still like Honda's...but if they keep pushing back bringing the
Type-R's here, forget it. Im going for a TSX/TL next time around for
the commute.

Wow, lot of S to G owners here. So you old S guys are happy with the upgrade. That's good to hear. I can't wait to order mine now. I will miss the high reving 4 for sure though.
How much did you S guys sell your S for???? And how many miles did it have? If you don't mind me asking... I've got @ 70k highway miles on my 02.
Here's my S

Mine was an '02, I got one of the first ones (late summer of '01). I took immaculate care of the car. In Jan of '04 I traded it in for a new Tundra. I had just moved to Seattle, and having a nice car up there is pointless. Highways are always jammed, nobody speeds (they clog up the freeway, frikkin' liberals), the fast lane was nonexistant and the weather is always crap, couldn't see owning it up there. I got $16.5 for mine with 30k on the ODO. I haggled a little on the trade in, but I had already raped them on the Tundra price (invoice). Good luck.

I ran 14.1x and 14.2's all day at the track... Drove my buddy's RSX the other day similar set up except exhaust system (a tad slower than my old setup) and I found myself really romping on the gas and shifting to get around traffic...
The handling feels alot more comfortable in the RSX (I'm just use to FWD)
The G just feels big and heavy to me, but the handling is there.. I just need to find some good mods that fit me.. the torque and power in stock setup is
But I think I'm happy with my G

i had a RSX-S but sold it last year for a G35C. acutally i bought the first RSX sold in the US and ran the rsx-s.com site. anyways, the G35 is a much more powerful car than the RSX. the interior is about the same in quality but much more legroom for the back seat passengers. the G35's trunk is much smaller but it's livable.
