have BFG's

My rear Pilot sports lasted 16K with zero burnouts, I was very disappointed.
I have had the BFG's for 2k and like them. Have not really noticed any difference in noise or performance but the BFG's cost last and should last longer.
I've had several sets of BFG's over the years and have always gotten excellent
life and performance, they are definietly my brand of choice.

I have Bridgestone Potneza SO3 - too noisy & expected more than 18k, got 24k out of oem's. Went to Dunlop DZ 101's about 1/2 the price of the SO3 & its an Ultra peformance tire. At 1/2 the price, can,t go wrong.

I have Yokohama's on the front, and don't recommend them....I actually have Kumhos on the rear, and those are a good buy for the money....but probably won't last long....I have always had the best luck with Dunlops...not sure what they offer in our sizes, but that's what i will buy when it's time again....

I have used S03 in the past with my Supra and I loved those tires... it does get loud but the grip is pretty damn good, both on dry and wet pavements.

I'm using Kumho MX as my rears right now. I like it so far. It's no louder than Pilots and the grip levels seem pretty good. Plus it costs on 1/2 of Pilots.

I am running into that problem also. I cannot find the oem rears anywhere?

I'm just under 21k miles - still on stock Pilot Sports, but the rear tread is nearly gone. I will be replacing with Nitto NT555s. 245/40/18 on front and 255/45/18 on rear.
