Question: White Coated Rims w/machined or chrome lips? Any good?

Just a question and thinking ahead...I'm leaning towards the Athens Blue and was wondering the pros and cons of white rims and whether the color combo would work. I guess it's always safe to stay aluminum alloy/chrome for the blue coupe, what you guys think? If any of you have pics, that would be great too...again, just thinking ahead

Since you're asking for opinions - I think white rims on an Athens Blue car would look terrible!

I would suggest either polished, black, or chrome.

I think rims are really a personal thing, it kinda describs your own identity or character about yourself. White rims were "in style" about three to four years ago, now they seem to have faded away. Anyways, my opinion only: I would hate to have to clean white rims every other day, but I think the style is coming back soon.

one popular new trend is matching the rim color to the color of the car, dont know how it would look on athens blue though.

I guess you can't go wrong with chome/polished rims...for some reason black doesn't really match well with the Athens Blue IMO, or it could be just me. I'm not sure if having matching rims with the color of the car would do well with the Athens.

C-Keith - You're right...didn't think about how annoying it can get if I had to wash the white rims all the time.
