The CD Player isn't working :(

This just happened today as I parked my car in front of my house to grab something real quick and came back. The CD Player was working perfectly fine until I came back in and I started up the car. I was driving for a couple of minutes and I realized there was no music. As I checked the screen, it kept circulating through my CDs, but were not able to play them. I tried taking it out and putting the CDs back in, but failed miserably. Guess I have to back to Infiniti tomorrow

My G35 is about 2 months old and the CD player is very finicky. It worked for a couple of weeks and then started rejecting everything in slots 2-6 and only accepts about half of what I put in slot 1 (CD-R and commercial CDs, it doesn't seem to matter). Sometimes it does exactly what you describe. Mine is going to the dealer next week.

The CD changer will not play some CD-R's. Don't put any discs in that have a paper label on them.

Angry

Mine stopped working in my '03, and the dealer wouldn't fix it. Apparently the warranty is 60 K miles, and I had 63. I'm still looking for a replacement.

Ya, it happened to me 2 weeks ago. I brought it to Infiniti and they put a new one i under warranty. Unfortunatly, the number 1 key on the new one isnt functional, which is a demonstration of Herb Chambers excellent service department, but I already have a thread on that entitled "The worst dealership experience Ive ever had." ...they should replace it no problem

Thanks for everyones input
I got impatient and I had quite a bit of spare time so I went down to Infiniti and they ordered a new head unit for me . I asked them just for the hell of it if it was possible to put the 05 head unit inside the 04 (MP3 capability sounds awfully nice to me ) then the guy kinda hesitated and gave me a weak answer of something about the wires. Probably is true, but would be nice if I could put it in the 04
