Congrats on the G & welcome to the forum! My last car was a 95 GSX (bought new) modded to the max. I just picked up my 05 6mt coupe this past Thursday. One of the many interesting things I noticed was the power is much more linear in the G compared to our DSM's turbo smacking ya back into your seat at 3k. I'm still deciding whether to keep the GSX as a winter/beater car or sell it. Anyway, welcome to the forum, this place rocks and there’s TONS of great info & people here.
Finally, I was beginning to think no one here knows what DSM means. Congrats on the G & welcome to the forum! My last car was a 95 GSX (bought new) modded to the max. I'm currently installing Denso 720, GT30R setup, eprom, afpr and bunch of other stuff into my 90, hoping to get into 11's this summer. Too much blood and sweat went into the Talon, I'm in too deep to let it go, I'm sure you know what I mean.

Hey listen A-holes, the dude just got the car and is probably more excited about the car, than how to spell the brand at this time. It was a freakin' typo. As for his questions, you guys may have seen these pop up numerous times, but he is NEW here and probably doesn't even know how to find his way around yet. So, instead of flaming the dude, just click to another post. Who the hell cares if he asked repetitive questions, is it hurting you? No, didn't think so.
Anyway, congrats on your choice of fine automobiles oldman. The break in period is detailed in your owners manual. I read the entire thing from front to back because I was so happy I got the car. Enjoy.

Thanks, it's my first new car so reading the owner's manual is a new thing, I usually jump straight to Haynes service manual. Anyway, congrats on your choice of fine automobiles oldman. We got ours from Ray Catena but I think my girlfriend got ripped off. After the initial excitement, I went on yahoo and found out the msrp with our options is $36,640 with a tageted price of around $34,500 but she paid $37,000. I'm new to buying new cars from dealerships so I'll do some more research on my own and take that up with them tomorrow. Anyway, where did you get your coupe? Welcome to the G community.
The hardest part of owning a new one is the
break-in period.
148 miles to 1200!!!!

On Edmunds, it shows that people are paying MSRP for the G35. My cousin just bought one earlier this year and paid $38k otd for his. I just contacted a couple of dealerships and their willing to sell the vehicle to me for $1k over invoice. I'm trying to get them to drop it down to 500 over invoice before I purchase one.
