'Service engine' light
'Service engine' light
Has anybody just had it fly on for no reason?
Mine did last week and I figured it was the injen+heat wave messing with the air/fuel mapping. turns out (atleast on freshalloy) that NUMEROUS people are having this problem (it just coming on for no reason, then like a week later turning off)....i fixed mine by resetting the ECU.
So has this happened to anybody (light comes on for no reason) here?

Re: 'Service engine' light
Not enough clicks on the gas cap will trip the check engine light.....A minumum of three clicks is suggested.
Resetting the ECU will reset the light as well.

Sounds like a bad sensor, or a stuck valve. If it comes on again, have the dealer scan the memory for the problem. If it doesn't , then it was just a 'hiccup'.
