Re: Clutch Burn Up ????????

I saw you at the track running repeatedly and never getting a good time. With all due respect, I think it is probably your lack of driving skill. It is easy to pull off 14.1-14.3 times for me at the track in my Sedan, but your 20hp more Coupe was pulling 15's and high 14's. It was embarrassing for us G owners. All of my friends were asking what was wrong with your car because it was so much slower than my car. I hope they fix it for you so that you have another clutch to practice on. I wanna see you run good times. But your repeated abuse on the clutch the way you slip it out at 3-4k is very abusive.

You sure its not a prob with emergency brake? I know you said you took it off, but maybe it's not fully disengaging when you pull down the handle?

If your car isn't moving without a lot of gas, that sounds like an e-brake thing.

Actually your issue sound like a burnt/glazed Clutch and Flywheel problem. You may need to have them replaced.

Rev to about 2100rpms and slip it VERY fast and shift right at 6500. You will only get better!
