Does anybody got a squeaky/creak sound from the front end of the car? I just installed a HKS intake and I thought it was from that but everything is tight! I just saw this TSB in the forum:

Did anybody have this? I hear it everytime I drive but sometimes it is very quiet and sometimes its loud. Any ideas?

 

i have a creaking on my passenger seat... it doesnt shut up unless i wack it really hard or if i press down on the headrest section... this car is full of creaks

 

hmm mine sound like its from the engine.

 

When I visualized you beating the **** out of your seats, I laughed out loud in my cubicle for a moment. hahaha

 

imalazeeass- there is a TSB for your seat rattle..i also had it and got it taken care of...

skylineg35tt and the rest of you fellas who may have this issue - i had the dealer replace both compression rods and this resolved my creaking noise..it was a PITA trying to convince the dealer the noise wasn't coming from any of the mods in did...check out the two links from 6MT or FA...the links also provide a part #..i printed the FA link and showed it to my service adviser and he was willing to perform the repair...i hope this helps everyone...btw, my SN on the other boards is ireloaded9...

did you ever find the solution to this problem..mine just started doing it...and its nagging the hell out of me..

 

mine started after I had the compression rod work done weak! luckily, it takes a nasty bump to make noise.. but this winter will probably make it 10x worse.

 

my noise is even at a stop it seems to be comming from both the right and left side of the car depending on which way i turn the wheel. the noise is produced while driving or if im stopped just turning the wheel all the way to the right then all the way to the left, or vise versa. yet it doesnt do it every time. it started after i installed all my mods ( engine/intake/exhaust.) no suspension work was done.

 

Sorry to bring this old tread back, but last couple of days i am also getting this same sound as well. It's like a squeeky sound coming from the front left side. I took my car to the dealer this afternoon took it for test drive with my service advisor, at first he couldn't hear anything untill i point the sound to him.
According to the service advisor he said at this point it's very diffcult to trace the sound but if the sound gets louder he wants me to bring the car back.
