SOLD MY 350z got a G35 coupe

Hey I just sold my Daytona Blue 350z with about 10k worth of mods and bought a 2004 G35 coupe. I've been too lazy to create an account here but I finally did. I got a silver 6MT with black leather, all options besides nav. The brembo's are awesome too. One issue is there is a veryyy drastic change in handling. THe VDC seems to kick in way to early, does this happen to anyone else? thanks in advance

It should feel way softer (the handling). I went the other way around. I did notice the VDC coming in a lot more too. What was wrong with the Z?

THe Z was amazing. looked amazing, handled amazing, and ive killed quite a few cars with it too. i pulled even w/ an M3 too. I just could not handle the idea of having only 2 seats and not being able to take it anywhere b/c I couldnt take people. I also got quite a few too many tickets the color was just way too bright. here are a few pics

insurance is less, but there are two factors about it. One, my dad's company insures all of our cars, 2nd, i have a pretty bad record, so it didnt make THAT much of a difference. My license is currently restricted for another month. 3 tickets in 2 years. all 3 speeding, one in excess of 90 (actual speed was 120)

Did you keep any of the performance mods to put on the G?

no i didnt, i actually didnt even think about getting a G. my choices were down to a Mustang GT 2005 and a Subaru Sti. G35 was a spur of the moment stop at the dealer, and walked out w/ the car. i wish i did, but i have some plans for the G.

I've driven a Z before and didn't notice too much of a performance dif. The G feels a lot classier too. Having the back seats are nice...

i dont know the stock for stock difference really b/c my Z wasn't stock for about 3/4 of the time i had it. There was a HUGE performance difference from the Z to the G. but having the amazing interior and class and the 2 back seats is great. I have Tein coilovers coming by this month, and hopefully by end of summer I will have a single turbo setup. (hopefully APS's kit on the 350z will fit on the G35 coupe)

I wanted the Z too, but I like the looks of the G more... back seats? Hmm probably people sat on them 3 or 4 times at most. Besides, sometimes it helps saying "sorry I have no space."

yes that is true, but where do you take the ladies if you have no room? the seats recline all the way back, or the front ones can go pretty far forward. i love the rear of the G, but like the front of the Z more. i dnno both cars are awesome, i just miss the pure performance of that car. it got so much attention it was wrong, i had people stop me on the streets randomly. now im just at stock so its a different feel for me not used to it. cant wait to slam it to the floor. ive actually had people sit in it already, and it can always work as a backup its extra space that never kills anyone.
