bowman- any luck selling your car on ebay? I found it to be a pain in the @ss. I actually have the check coming in this week though, some kid bought it sight unseen!

Yea its a pain because i have all these kids wanting to buy it, yea i am only 19 but i am not stupid i know that the only way my car is going to seel is if some rich 16 year old wants it and his dad buys it for him lol. i dont know man there is alot of tricks you can pull on ebay and i see alot of people doing it but yea its a huge pain. everyone wants something for nothing, but i cant really blame them for that. i have had alot of offers for 20k but that means im gonna take a 13 grand loss at least and i cant afford to have that happen. 23-25 i would sell but i dont think its going to happen.

holy crap 23-25k? dam man, don't mean to sound critical, but i don't know anyone that would pay that much for a tiburon... (no offense) but like you said, you'd have to come across a rich kid.
I had AEM EMS, a race built chassis, and 450-550 whp depending on boost, and sold my car for 15k and i was happy with that. (A project car that i spent 40k on.) But like said earlier "it still a civic" haha sad but true... It's the nature of our hobby, cars are not investments, unless we're talking about a classic car like GT-ron's ...which by the way, i would love to build a 68 fastback w/ the eleanor kit, but that's another project. heheheh...
I'm 28 now and finally buying my first new house, and I'm finally in a position to buy another motorcyle and also my G35. But i'm envious if you can pull off the G at 19? that's awesome.
good luck to you.

I will definatly find a way to get a G. I could do it now but i dont want half my monthly income going to a car payment then another ouarter of it going to insurance. I have a couple different options to do it but some things i dont want to give up to get it. I race motocross and in aug of 03 i suffered a tibea plateau fracture to my right knee, i was never supposed to race again due to the fact that i was only going to be able to bend my leg 30 degrees, some how or another i ended up getting 90 degrees, i still couldent ride so i had another surgery to remove scar tissue. Now i have about 110 degrees of bending. the reason i put money in my tiburon is because i sold all my dirtbikes and trailer and equipment because i didnt think riding would ever be an option, so i put all the money in my tiburon so i could watch its progress while i was hurt so i had something to do. 18 months later i finally rode again. then march 11 of this year i shattered my wrist and had to get surgery so im kinda weight out my future at this point, i could sell the bikes and trailer and get a G but what the hell would i do for a hobby. after you do something like race motocross, everything else just seems boring.
