hey my window has been acting up and i decided to leave it up by putting on the window lock. And by accident my friend held the unlock button down 3 times, and down goes the window. It is permanently down and will not go up no matter what. I am on a tight schedule and dont have time to get to Infiniti any time this week. So can anybody tell me a way to put the window up manually or some sort of trick to get the window up???

I doubt this is the case, but make sure you don't have it locked still and are mistakenly thinking that it is unlocked. That happened to me, I was like WTF is wrong with the window, and I realized I had accidentally locked it...I'm sure since you mentioned lock though, its prolly not the case, but can't hurt to double check..

 

Check to see if you still hear the motor working. If it does try to gently pull-up while your press the window button.

when i hit the up button i hear a click but nothing happends

 

Sounds like your motor to your window is out.. or possible relay.

Call your dealer/technician to confirm

 

It happened to me during the winter while paying toll. Rolled the window down and it didn't roll up - all I heard was clicking. This was in Chicago during the winter, so it was like 0 degrees ourside. Drove a bit, decided not to freeze, then called for roadside help.. They came and towed the car. It took about a day to fix.

 

what year is your G? i just had my window motor replaced in my 04. 03's and 04's have that tendency. i also had to have the car on a tight schedule, and was told a temporary fix would be to hit the area wher the motor is located. a little above the slot on the door. just hit it and see if it goes up. usually motor just needs a kick
