Coupe rattles

My new coupe has 200 miles and allready have developed some rattles. Anyone have suggestions on how to find them and what to do after they are found. I'm sure the dealer wont do a thing.

I have a 04.5 coupe with 19K and I have had rattles from day one. I know there are TSB's out there for some of the rattles. They drove me nuts as well... ya know owning a "higher" end brand new car and all.

Advice... after owning one year and a few touches at the 125 mark and many fast turns.....now I really don't even hear them.. I really don't. That said, also since day one.... .clutch rattle and avoiding rock hits on highway because of weak paint.

Enjoy the ride and screw the little things ya know. Owning the car has many upsides which you are going to find out for the next years to come.

My rattling seems like it's coming from the handle you pull up on the passenger seat to make it recline. Also it sound's like the locks are rattiling too. Anyone have similar problems?

The recline handle rattles on the passenger side because there isn't a seat belt pressuring it inwards (like on the driver side). What I did was get some tan colored duct tape (I have a tan interior) and built up a few layers under the passenger seat handle--totally eliminated the rattle and isn't noticeable. I don't know what you mean about locks rattling but the retracted seat belt tab will rattle on the door. I fixed that in a different manner.

I have a little rattle right near the ignition in the morning about 8:23 then it goes away, no big deal. The other day I heard a squeaky noise behind me around the window area, its a wierd funny squeak. Anybody heard this one? They will never cure the rattle problems with all the interior parts we have. Holla back

No rattles so far (aside from the seatbelts). [fingers crossed] But the keyfob hitting against the dash sometimes gets a little annoying. Aside from taking the key off of it and leaving it in the car (probably not a good idea ) I don't think they're a nice way of getting around this.

I've had annoying rattles in this car from the day I picked it up brand new. Dealers have attempted to fix them 6 times, and the best they can do is get rid of them for 2k miles, then they all come back again. Service manager at the dealership ended up telling me "these cars rattle alot - you just have to live with it." To which I replied, "no, my lease is up in 5 weeks, so YOU have to live with it!"

i would write an email to Nissan Corporate about the dealer's response to the rattle. Did you get the name of the guy?
