Yes you should be able to see it. Wash your car, drive it for about 50 miles. Look on your rear bumper. If it has glass on it then you have the problem.

but really, I have the Injen but waited until they could send me the updated version before I purchased it... it hasn't given me any problems (yet) and I have had it on for around 4-5 months...
