Experiences at Miller Infiniti- Van Nuys

ok i went to the Miller Infiniti of Van Nuys last night... i am looking into buying a new car within 3-4 months less or more and i think im positive with going with the g35 coupe. ok so i walk in and look around, interior, exterior, etc. i ask for a test drive and a middle eastern salesman tells me i cant. i was like wat the hell, okkkk. i told him- "so ur telling me if i wanted to buy a car from u guys u guys wont even let me know how it drives before i even purchase it?" he was like wait here and he gave me the keys. i dont know what was such a big deal- i have a license, i am experience driver in manual and auto. jeez. But in the end i did drive the car, man it is a great car.

i asked how much over invoice can u price me. he gives me attitude and tells me invoice cannot be discussed, infiniti policy. if that is true i respect it as a policy, if thats not then oh well.. its just i just see ppl here on the forum talk about how much above invoice they got there coupes so i decided to ask him.

lastly this salesman just walks off on me and tells me to wait, as i wait his friend (not a worker of infinity) walks in and hes just holding a conversation with me keeping me waiting. i said **** this and i walked off...

my opinion on this dealership is whatevers, not too great. i just really love the cars that there selling. lol

anyone know if thousand oaks auto mall will be any better than this? or any other dealerships in the la county area, thanks for ur help

I got the same line about no test driving, i think they try to weed out those who arn't serious that way, but you just say "no test drive, no sale"

also regarding over invoce, don't phrase it to them like that. do this: research your options that you want, the color and everything, find out online what the invoice price for your setup is, then offer them something like 100 over invoice, knowing that they probably won't go for it, but see how close they can stick to it, and also, don't negotiate unless you are ready to sign the dotted line, because if you say, 100 over invoice and ill buy it right now is much more compelling then if they know you'll be back in 3 months. if you tell them that you'll be back later they have no incentive to spend time with you, because they want the sale now.

also lie and say that "another dealer will give me it for $xxxx dollars but that its your second choice for color, but you would still go for it if they cant match that price because its such a great deal.."

dealerships are sleezy, the stereotype is true, they are making more money than what you give them over invoice through holdbacks and kickbacks from the bank. don't let them ever make you feel bad for them or anything, they are just trying to sucker you into letting go of more cash... be ruthless and you will get what you want when it comes to car purchases. trust me they are much more ruthless than they will ever let you think...

worked for me i got 150 over invoice good luck!

First off wat is your age? The reason i ask this, that dealership has lately seen a flock of young people. The reason that said that is your probably between the ages of 16-21. This is just my assumption.

But they are a good dealership to deal with. I have bought 2 g35's from them. A sedan for my father and a coupe for myself. AS well as cousins and other family members buying FX45's etc.... etc.....

Depends on how you present yourself and who the salesman is. I bought my coupe there in April '03; but about a week before I bought the car I went in and test drove the G35 Coupe, G35 Sedan, and FX45. No hassle at all!

Hey, I bought my car at Miller Infiniti. Great Guy there is William. He's got a slight accent and balding. Ask for him. He helped me out alot, and the negotiation was handled with the Manager. We went for a test drive and all. He offered the test drive too. They have a huge selection there.

I got mine from there. I dealt with David Marsh. He's a great guy. No pressure and he wanted to give me that test drive with no issues. I'm young myself (26), but it didn't seem like he was picky about it...

I was the 2nd 05 6MT to be bought from them back on Jan 7th, took delivery on the 15th, at the time, there were none on the lot, so I couldn't test drive it, but I knew I wanted it because before it I was looking at the Z.

They wouldn't honor my VPP.

They wouldn't knock off 1 cent, and if I wanted 200 bucks off, I had to finance for a minimum of 3 months at thier rate. Which would have added up to 600 bucks in interest alone after those 3 months.

The sales guy brought out the manager to shake our hands and tell us to have a nice day and that there isn't going to be a deal.

Ended up buying it fully loaded (way I wanted it) for $43,300 out the door after tax and docs only because all other dealers at the time because either

A. Didn't recieve a shipment yet or
B. only had 2 or 3 on the lot of which weren't my color or option or
C. No other dealer would honor VPP or negotiate...

Thier finance guy Marc Rose is a dick...the rest were cool. But if your looking for a discount, go ANYWHERE else and you'll definetly have better luck. About two months ago, most SoCal dealers were already taking 500 off if not more...

And people like you, who automatically assume that any mention of race makes it racism, is why I am ashamed of my country.

Oh, and the fact that you have no clue where the caps lock button is, which makes you completely ignorant of polite internet conversation also shows what a true genius you are.
