05 prices

What are you guys paying for 05's? When I test drove one the salesman was saying 1000 less than msrp(with no negotiating). I really just wanted to test drive so I didnt talk too much about price. How much under msrp is a good deal? BTW i am in MD.

Thanks

I feel bad for the delaership i got mine from . Got me a 05 DG 6MT with Aero Package, Premium Package, Splashguards and Front Lip for $34,550. Edmunds reports invoice as $34,079 not including Front Lip+Labor.I'll probably throw em a few extra $$$ for hooking me up. Taking ownership next Friday

this depends largly on if it's a 6MT or a 5AT and your location... i would not say 500 over invoice is all you should pay.. here in california you would never find a deal like that.

I think it would be pretty tough here in Chicago also.

He listed he was in MD .. & I don't care if it's a 6MT or an auto ... or where the location is for that matter .. If you know how to deal .. you could get it in CALI for the same $$ as the East does ..... & if you are wondering ... I paid 250.00 over for a loaded 05 6MT .. less the side molding no VPP or any kind of hook-up/friend ... in NY

Okay, if you say so tough guy.

Because someone would really sell a car for 250 over invoice when they could JUST as easily sell it for 1500 over invoice to the next guy.

Also, 6MT and 5AT makes a very big difference in Southern California.

Nobody is trying to compete with you in your incredible "dealing" abilities so calm down.

Now now there are dealers that do sell these things cheap. I got mine that way when everyone was paying MSRP for the '03 and I got 500 over invoice on an '04.

It all depends where you live.

One of my 1st posts here back in the day was.....
"don't pay MSRP anymore"

Yeap, Riverside Infiniti was about to sell me one at 300 over invoice (competing w/ Grubbs) but Dayton Infiniti gave me 500 over invoice and I didn't have to pay for shipping. So yeah..

$250. may be hard for some yes! but $500. is not hard at all. If you don't need a test drive, know all the options you want, know what you want to pay, have financing lined up outside of the dealer, you can close the deal in 15 minutes .. like I did.

Don't forget they make money on hold back also .. about another 500.00 .... So yeah ... this tough guy would bet the bank he could close this deal anywhere .... $1000.00 for them with 15-30 minutes of work ... is worth it for them .. You think they don't like putting up #'s for cars sold? I'm sure they will play the high low game ... they do that everywhere .. They will fold.... wanna look in my driveway?
