For those of you with TEIN FLEX Coilovers?
For those of you with TEIN FLEX Coilovers?
Do you guys really like that setup, my biggest negative about this car is the suspension, I think i need to change it, thats if i dont sell my car
I like the setup alot! I had mine installed at Dynamic Autosports located in South OC (near Irvine).
Here's the url: http://www.DynamicAutosports.com/
Dynamic took about 2 hours to install for $150 install fee (more if installing EDFC together with FLEX). They did a great job! You can ask for Chip or Danny and they can help you out.
They installed the FLEX's (without EDFC - my decision) with the default setting of 8 (out of 16 different settings) and they set it at the perfect height (just enough to close the gap in the wheel well).
I didn't get the EDFC, but I (among others) would highly recommend it so you can change the dampening force from inside the car. Otherwise you can't change the dampening on the rear coilovers without having to remove the suspension. The setting the front settings are easy but the rear 1mount points are in-accessible from the inside of the G.
I am actually going back to Dynamic Autosports in the very near future to have the EDFC installed, cause the default setting of 8 is a little too rough for certain parts of OC, especially when you have a date.. It would be nice to easily adjust the dampening force, and that's what the EDFC gives you.
If you do decide to get the FLEX's w/EDFC, go to Dynamic Autosports. They did a great job!!
Other places to visit are StreetImage, Vision Autosports & Elite Auto Performance.
