newbe here

Hey guys, my name is Trey and I'm from New Orleans. Some one on a local forum reffered me to this site when I told him I was in the market for a G35 coupe. I'm currently driving a 2002 Nissan Sentra Se-r Spec V but really want to upgrade into a G35. The spec is a real fun car and all, and I put alot of money into to it, but I think it's time for something better. I've had my eyes on the G for a while now. I went check a dealership in my area and they have quite a few in stock, only one 6sp tho, and it's black and I'll never own a black car. What I would really like to know is what some of yall paid for your coupe. Anyway I look foward to learning as much info as I can from here before I make my purchace. Here are a couple pics of my current ride.

Welcome to the board. The coupes start out at $33,350 MSRP for the 6 Spd and $32,750 for the auto. I ordered the auto with the Premium Pkg, Sport Pkg and the Aero Kit w/Rear Spoiler. Total MSRP is $38,630, I paid $35,587 ($500 over Invoice).

600 over invoice.
check your car's invoice @ www.edmunds.com/
anything below 1000 - i'd say ok but...500~600 is avg.

$1500 over invoice for a 6mt, but I ordered it the same month that the 05 manuals came out. I could've waited longer but then my 03 would've depreciated more.

you think i could be able to get a 05 for cheaper once the 06's come out?? it might not be till 06 before i get one anyway, but if i can get a 05 model the way i want it for cheaper then i will. the only part that sucks is that my car is a 02 with 43k miles on it and if i trade it in right now, they would only give me about $8K for it if im lucky. the longer i wait, the less i'll get.
