I had nth to do today and decided to go check out a G coupe, i always want to get a used 03 6MT if they have one

but when i got there i could not find any used ones except one sedan at the used lot, and the salesman who saw my Acura and went up to my car and taking photos with his phone

he told me he owns a TL too and he likes my ride...blah blah blah, and he said the used ones are very hot and very high demand

then he tried to make me to see the 05 coupe which i found it's much better built interior and try to make me into buying one (lease or fin only 3.9%)

then i asked him for trading in then he said my car worths **** even i have only 35k miles on my 02 TL

a brand new 05 coupe is way out of my budget for now and looks like i need to drive my Acura until 100k miles b4 i get the new G

 

You don't want to buy a used G from a dealer anyhow. They will molest you dearly with price cause they feel like GOD of the G's....get it private and save big, plus all are still under warranty unless its over 60,000 miles, or modified and caught/recorded.

 

i don't plan on buying one now, just to have a close look for now and hope for a test drive

i am still gd with my acura, when it is time to retire then i will get the G

 

Stick with private party to get the most $ for your car, and the best price for a used G.

And no offense, but why do you have a 13 line signature with stuff not even about a G35?

 

Wow,..just be patient samkw. You'll find one. I feel fortunate to find an 03 back in Jan. I couldn't resist, it only had 8k miles and looked brand new inside and out . Anyways good luck dude.

 

i love my mods on my acura, but it will get old one day and that will be the time for a G

Dude, don't believe it when he tells you that your trade-in value for your car is small. I used to sell cars and that's what's called "planting the seeds" in the business. It convinces you that your trade-in value is small - even before you guys talk numbers. And during the negotiation process, when he brings a REALLY REALLY small offer for your trade-in, he'll say "see, I told you your trade-in is very small." BEST thing to do is to try to sell it to a private party. That way YOU'RE in charge of selling the car, instead of asking the dealership to buy it.

 

Hey that looks like my car only mine is a TLS. I got rid of it to get my coupe.
