Get it from Grubbs Infiniti, I bought mine for 250 and installed it myself pretty easy and you dont have to take the bumper off.

I love mine, made the car sound a little cleaner, added some MPG. Its easy to install. I would just try it myself. You dont need to take off the front bumper as the directions say.

I agree, its a great add-on! Sounds great, good value, looks nice and its easy to install. Injens instructions have you remove the front bumper, but all you need to do is turn your steering wheel in, and get inside the front driver side mud guard. Its tight, but you can the air filter in and on through that area. Its a lot easier and quicker than fooling around with the whole front bumper. Power gains wise, I've seen the reports and I've heard the stories, but to be quite honest (I have one on my G), the gains are minimal if any. If you're gonna get it, get it for its brute sounding roar and eye candy factor under the hood. Although I didnt get mine from Grubbs, I second the Grubbs call. They're great people, even had the pleasure of visiting them last year when I was in Texas on business. They'll bend over backwards for you if you need them too.

Those seem like very generous HP claims by the guys at the shop.

12 seems high and 17-20 seems extremely high.

I have the AEM intake and I'd be happy getting 5-8 ponies off of it.

I'm not sure that an intake is going to have THAT big an effect. It's gonna definitely help, but 17-20 seems over the top.

I agree. I have the Injen CAI and it's a nice piece but I'm certainly not hoping for 17+ hp. I'd be MORE than happy for 10hp. Most of the mods we can do to a NA car will honestly not make that much of a difference. Maybe a combo of a number of mods...

I'd guess more like 4 - 5 added HP.....but it does look and sound SCHWEET!

Like DucatiGuy said, I installed mine in about 15-20 min by going in thru the fender liner over the wheelwell.

cold air intakes usually add more (5-7) but lower torque so the net effect is usually zero and normal ram air intakes with no heatshield will usually take hp away. An intake with no heatsheild is worse than the stock airbox because all you're doing is sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

Yea +1 on injen on the fact of the sound it makes.

I hated takin it off. I miss the sound. As for performance. I dynoed it and didnt notice a gain in the charts.

if your going to spend that much u might as well put it toward another intake system.
