I got mine last week Monday @ VPP pricing for $34,274 with Premium, Aero, splash and trunk mat. Black/black 6MT.

Prior to that I had priced it with navigation ($2000) and XM ($400) and it would have come to $36,389. So take off XM and it would have been about $35,985 or so.

you can just add a few hundred dollars ($200-500) to invoice pricing to estimate vpp pricing.

For Business Associates, the VPP price is calculated as follows:

* Dealer invoice
* Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
* Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, etc.
* Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
* Plus destination and handling charge
* Minus applicable incentives
* Equals paticipant's purchase price

Bingo - that's the actual calculation that I tried to use to estimate the cost. The actual cost was a bit lower than what I calced based on Edmunds invoice pricing. As said earlier, add a couple hundred bucks to invoice and you're darn close.

I used the above formula before I bought my coupe using VPP and the price I calculated was the same as what I paid. One thing that is not obvious when doing the calculation is that you have to subtract the destination charge from Edmunds invoice price to have the correct invoice price for the calculation.

Where I ended up off (I believe) was in Edmunds calculation of invoice on the options I added. All told I think I overestimated by about $50 or so. Close enough!

Its funny how $50 is nothing when buying a 35K car. I once walked out on a dealer who wouldn't come down $50 more bucks.

He called back later and have me invoice. (It was my Ford)

Yes and all of this is well documented on this site. You could have answered your own question by using the search function. But it takes thinking to achieve this, so not everyone would apply
