Interesting question. I think it really depends (for some reason) onthe individal car itself. I'm 6'1" ad have a sunroof. There's not much room to spare but its OK. I testdrove several different cars during my search and in some I had no headroom and in some I had 2+ inches. You are sure to have more without the sunroof but it may take qut a while to get.

6'2" also, sit with the seat bottom all the way back and the seat back tipped a bit and clear the ceiling with a sunroof. It's pretty close though. The sunroof is important to me so wouldn't get the car if I didn't fit in it with a sunroof. ...dean

Man, goooooood luck finding a dealer that had ordered a non sunroof coupe for general sale on the lot. I searched all the dealers in the 5 western states for 2 months solid. Everytime a non sunroof car showed up, it was a customer ordered car 100% of the time.

i have one without sunroof, had to special order of course.....
there is 1" more headroom. I wish i had a sunroof though, its a big price to pay for being tall [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]

I'm 6' 2" myself with a long torso. I was pretty nervous through my order process and while I waited for my car because during my test drives and sitting in showroom cars, my head was so close to the roof. I decided to live with it and now that I have my car, I am extremely happy. Yes my head is close, and sometimes I have some stray hairs that hit the trim around the sunroof opening, But I really don't even think about it. I'd say get the sunroof if it's something you want. I had to have it or I would have gotten a different car.

LOL.....stray hairs.....yeah i get that problem too, decided to shave my head as a short-term solution [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
plus the summer is here and i dont like the long hair when playing sports
