Ahh ha. I would love a new vette, but the wife won't let me get one. Just doesn't work when you have two baby seats in the back of the G.

It never helps to think of what kind of car you could've bought with all the money you invested in your current car. Wishful thinking.

Sure you could buy a Corvette if you play your cards right, but sometimes it's about the experience getting there.

Like I said before, you need to get yourself a twin-turbo VK45DE!!!

Here's the game plan to get there...

"...pluck a plus-size 4.5L VK45 V-8 from a Nissan Cima (our Infiniti Q45)...To this end a matched set of HKS GT2835 turbos was plumbed into the mix. To handle the power, VQ30 rods and pistons were employed in the bottom end. Because a twin-turbo V-8 demands massive amounts of fuel and air, two Bosch fuel pumps force-feed Top Secret 720cc injectors while a pair of Pulsar throttle bodies brings in the air. The star of the air/fuel show is the Top Secret original surge tank intake manifold... Keeping everything cool like Fonzie is an ARC radiator and an intercooler set up in a righteous V-mount configuration. When the tuning is complete...will put down in excess of 800 hp! "

Sound familiar...I hope so. Top Secret GT-R! http://superstreetonline.com/feature...505_topsecret/

LMAO!!! Yeah, you've got to draw the line somewhere. You're my hero Gman!

If you are going to mod intensely, then IMHO, there is no reason to buy a new car in the first place, buy used. Especially since you'll probably be tearing the motor apart. Hmm, to answer your question, Used M3, find a Supra TT, and at 54k, you are getting into used Porsche turf and a few other cars. And with a 911, you won't need 500HP, it goes like stink stock, N/A.
