Chris Shively from my crew on 16niss rebuilt the VQ35. AEBS stroker kit and went from a 3.5 liter to a 4.3 liter. here is the list of his mods.

+1 for some sort of NA build... ...even a stroker. If you're still wanting more power, nitrous would be a minimal expense that the engine is already prepped for.

Best looking 350 I have ever seen. That motor is over the top .

sooo now i have alot of long extensive research to do... i am seriously going to consider the m45 engine swap! i will have my full complete plan and what im going to do step by step in about 2 or 3 weeks.. ill keep you posted

If you go with the stroker kit and FI you will need to go with a full stand alone (at least $5K). There are a few guys on my350z that have gone that route. You are looking at $50K just in the motor......that is ridiculous. Keep in mind I have almost $30K in my car (motor, rims, body kit, etc.) but $50K just in the motor I dunno.....

Any suggestions? Not counting eye candy mods, I only have $19K in the motor. $35K for the car + $19K = $54K. What car can you buy for $54K that has over 500hp at the wheel and will do the 1/4 mile anywhere from 11.5-11.8?
