hey all
i went to the dealer today and test drove the 05 g35 it drives nice so im goin to order a white 6 mt coupe tommorrow with black interior, navi, and a front lip and no sun roof but the wait is 2 months and if anyone has any advice about the car? thx

 

I just got mine too, diamond graphite w/ graphite interior. I wanted all options, but couldn't find a dealer in Chicago that had what I wanted. With the search feature on Infiniti's site I located the car in Ohio. As I was getting the car through the Infiniti VPP program (1.9% above invoice) I had to take in stock delivery or order. Don't take less than what you want, the sun roof is nice... don't settle.

 

I'm almost positive the 05 IP is not available with graphite interior...

 

i asked the sales person he says if i order the car i can choose any interior color but its going to be a 2 month wait

 

The two month wait will be worth it to get exactly what you want.... i refused to wait and ended up having to sacrifice navi... which i now kick myself for doing.... i wish i would have waited

Try to build a coupe on the website, it won't let you select Ivory Pearl with black interior. Your salesman is full of it. You also can't order the front lip only without the rear spoiler, unless you add it after you get the car. You also can't get the Navi without sunroof because Navi requires the Premium Package, which includes the sunroof. Gotta love Infiniti

 

yea.. i did that and i asked him about it he say i can choose, i hope he is not bull ****ting me..

 

I think he's giving you a load of crap.

 

alright well tell them thats what you want... and if he says no, then just go crazy on him, dont act like you ok with it... you might be able to knock off maybe 500 - 1k... if you good with negotiations and arguing... and if anything, just walk out and goto another dealership... thats just my 2 cents

 

which dealership? new one in Oakland? without sunroof and 6MT almost means you have to order it, if you want excatly what you want? then is worth the wait, might want also to consider the 06's, whats another 2~3 months wait anyway...

 

waiting for exaclty what you want is better than having something you don't want. i'm gonna be waiting until the end of august for mine to get here

i talked to the sales guy he seemed pretty cool then i talked to the manager he seems pretty cool i havent talked about prices yet i will talk to them tomorrow
