Is this bad??????

I was parked at my sisters house today and her driveway is gravel and bumpy, and is off of a bumpy dirt road. I was backing out of the driveway and the car felt like it was chugging and bumping, so i fuigured it was just the driveway. I stop, and put it in first, and i stall. I look down and realize my e-brake was still on. Is that bad for the e-brake/clutch? Any long term effects?

Thanks,
-Mike

No damage, you will be fine. Everybody does that once in a while, no harm done unless you drive around with it like that for a while.

Gotta take the G off-roading every once in a while. What do you think someone's always gonna roll out the red carpet in front of ya?

Yeah, driving a 6MT takes a little to get used to.. so many things to think about at the same time It happened to me too once in the good old rookie days, but it's no big deal.

Hi Mike,
Your car is fine, if you had gotten that baby up to speed I'd say youe ebrake pads might have lost a little weight. But this short drive, no worries, your baby is fine.

LOL, short term it's ok. Long term you'll burn the ebrakes out.
Sounds like you did no damage.
