Intake Question

I want a cheap, loud, intake that frees up a decent amount of HP, what do you guys think of:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634

Has anyone on the board bought it?

Is there another system thats more but is a lot better?Anything else you guys would advise with gaining cheap HP in the G? Did anyone really figure out how to reset the ECU without battery removal?

thanks guys

I bought something like of ebay, it was some generic brand, I got it for my gf's car but it sucked. It was loud but for some reason the car felt like it lagggedd when you got on the gas. I figured an intake is an intake but I guess I was wrong.

Ended up returning it and goin back to stock. IMO i dont beleive an intake will free up any usefull or noticable power theyre mainly for looks/sound. Get a plenum or spacer for more power.

If you buy that off ebay, it will prob be ok, except for the filter. Just think, you really want to make sure you aren't letting junk into your engine and who even makes that filter?

www.PerformanceNissanparts.com
www.EverythingG35.com (I've heard bad stuff about them from some people... they have messed up my friends order before!)

I'd go with Performance Nissan .. i think it comes up to $200 for the whole combo.

Z-Tube + JWT Pop Charger, will give you the best "damn sound for the buck!"

Nothing like flooring it downtown, and have people gawk at you while you drive by with this Growl!

i have a z-tube f/s

I just installed a ati procharger & no longer need my z-tube. I have it wrapped in exhaust/heat tape, to help with heat soak.

$55 buck shipped to your door!

PS: I'll rewrap it in clean, fresh tape before I ship it out!!

as for the pop charger....... I had it also, just sold it on my350z.com......

If I were to do it again I'd probably just get the drop-in K&N filter.
