Orange stains on my paint!!

I had these little orange spots of dried liquid on a few areas of my car. When I removed them, (each about the size of a BB), an orange stain was left on the paint. Any idea what this is and how to remove it?

Thanks

Could be tree sap, or some such thing. Give her a good washing and see if that does it, then give her a good waxing.

sounds like rail dust...depending how long you left it on there, you might be able to use a claybar to remove them or have to buff them out.

Do you park your car outside? Maybe it was bug crap. Try using bug and tar remover.

Yeah, that's weird...I got it too, and my car is always parked in the garage. But I just wiped it off and it was gone.

yeah..i agree, sounds like rail dust. If it penetrates the clear coat...it will leave a stain, so try not to leave it on the car for longer than a day. It appears on my car too, but I try to wipe it off asap. So far, no stains...

the pinhead size spots are probably rail dust, but he said BB size. that probably toxic bird poo. We get that alot on our IP pathfinder. After washing and some cleaner/wax, it takes about a week in the sun to bake those spots out. But they've always eventually baked away. The sooner I get it cleaned off, the faster it goes away.

if a good cleaner wont touch it, and clay doesnt help, then patience and the sun is usually my answer for our IP PF. But you know, if I suspected it was not organic and something more sinister, I'd take it to a professional.

I've heard those described as Bee-Blops. The guy swore it was pollen that was collected and then dropped in flight.

Sounds good to me.
