I just ordered mine on June 13, 2003!
According to the dealer, they said the 04 will have 300 hp, and a revised interior. I'm guessing the center console.
My delivery date is the first week of September.
My question is, will it arrive sooner than that ?

Oh man I hope this guy that your dealing with knows what a G35c is. Cause I highly doubt that they are making one that Is 300 hp.

 

Hmmm...last I heard they're offering Twilight Blue color...and NO other changes aside from a price increase. My gut says your dealer's screwing with you, but you never know for sure I suppose.

Listen to Guptasa, he's 100% correct right about the changes. No changes except the addition of Twilight Blue. If you don't believe him read the attached thread from FreshAlloy.

The poster of that thread, DFW Infiniti is the largest Infiniti dealer in the USA and has provided most of the factual information for the Fresh Alloy forum and this forum.

The first rule of buying a car - the dealer is saying whatever it takes to make the sale. If the dealer said 300hp you can discount everything else they say from that point forward.

If you want correct information read this and every forum you can find. After that you'll understand that we know more than almost all the dealerships.

if i'm correct, Ray Catena is the World Leader i Infiniti sales for maybe 3 years running. They brag about it, have documentation to prove it. DFW might be big, but not number 1

good luck bro, i ordered my G on march 23 and i was told they just started to make it. its going to be a 04 model and the only difference they know of will be a power passenger seats just like the driver side, but who knows.

If you ordered your car in March it should have been already built and in transit, if not delivered (if your on the west coast).

Their not building the 2004's yet. If your car is in production its the last of the 2003.5's.

Do you have an order number, if so what is the first letter. If its an R then its a 2003.5.

you had me worried and made me check. my order number starts with an S, so 04
mine was put in with June orders (6/3)

ordered late march, meant april order, should be july deliv.

 

If you have an S order your car won't even be built until July and delivered until August. You may want to confirm this with your dealer. Also, 2004 prices haven't been set yet.

confirmed mutliple times with dealer, it was ordered june 3 or 4, order # is in, it's an 04. estimated delivery is sept, early sept if i'm lucky (east coast).

reputable dealer, guy swore up and down no increase in price, i have signed deal, although somewhere there might be small print.

they have enough spread to cover a 500-1000 increase. plus, reputation.

saw coupe on road today, thought it might have been AT due to tire size. i know i will have to get radar detector.

 

well thats what the dealer told me, at this point i really just dont care anymore if its a 03.5 or a 04. also i was at the dealership when the looked at some list(i dont know what it really meant) and said my car was just building built last week. maybe these guys didnt believe me then i ordered the car, and just realized i wasnt joking when i come back every few weeks asking wheres my car? btw im 22, but the salemen there all swore i was 16 and didnt even talk to me the first time i was there

 

The 300hp must be a joke but I could belevie they might update the center consel just a little bit.

 

yeah, i don't think it's 300 hp either. Why would they change the engine after its introduction? Anyways, if any knows about any of the new/added features beside the additional color, please post it.
