So I de-modded a bit.

Ever since I put my Tein S-Techs on, the under carriage of the car and the exhaust would scrape on the slightest bumps, I even got roadkill stuck under there once. The other day there was this speed bump looking metal deal in the road, I hit it at an angle but it was no use, once the front tires passed over I hear "BANG!" These pics are the result of that bang. I have decided enough was enough and put my stock springs back on. Lowering the car just is not worth the potential of further damaging the vehicle. Oh well.

That's a lot of damage. I have had lowered cars before and never have I had so much damage. That's just bad luck. My sympathies!!!!

Its the black cross member brace on the passenger side rear. The S-Techs really made the car low to the ground. Also my camber is correct again, that makes me real happy.

Aww man. Thanks for the heads up at least. I was thinking about lowering when I get wheels, but it's not worth the scraping and expensive camber issues. Maybe the H-techs would be better, to me they're the perfect height. Have you taken any pics with the Volks on stock suspension yet? Does it look too 4x4? (old Maxima complex )

I put the espelir gt springs on and the drop is 1/4 inch and the ride is much better.I also have the tokicos and 350 evo sways too so they help as well. The epspelir are a nice addition if you don't want to bottom out on everything but want better supension.

PhxBlue - a similar situation happened to my G when my wife was driving. She claims there was a huge rock in the middle of the road and it went directly under the car. It rattled around and bent the black cross member brace. I pounded out the damage. Now, she won't drive my car anymore...hmm, maybe it's a good thing it happened.

Smart move if you're having clearance issues. No sense in destroying your undercarriage.

s-techs made for the coupe alone is a de-mod all on its own.

You know even with the car having a lower center of gravity it felt as if the car was a lil looser in the corners than it is stock. As for the wheel gap. The Maxima complex is a bad one, the Max has the worst wheel gap next to a Mitsubishi Galant that I have ever seen. The G however is not all that bad.

It looks like just undercarrage damage, but yeah, I phear lowering my car, I doubt I will, I cut it so close at stock that I may just get some 19's and call it a day.

Very smart tho to take those springs off, its not worth it, that could mess up your downforce.
