Questions about Floor Heat. Please Advise

I just noticed yesterday as I was driving at night that heat seemed to be coming up from the floor to my face and the A/C wasn't on and the windows were down. I felt this heat and I was like WTF is this coming from. Well I felt underneath and realized it was from the vent on the floor where the air comes out of. So, I was like okay so I went to manuel mode put the ac on and put the temp. to 70 Degress with the mode being both floor and up high. The air vent up top were producing normal cool air but the vent on the driver side wasn't cool at all it was hotter then the vents up top. Noticeably warmer. The driver side floor vent was warmer but not as warm as the driver side floor vent. I read in the manuel that it could take some time for the floor vents to match the ones up top but I drove for 20 mintues and this didnt change. Has anybody experienced this or am I the only one? Even when I turned the Air completly off I would put my hand down to the driver side floor vent and it was hot. ANy ideas what this could be

I recall a post from last year regarding this......Hot Air Post

There's apparently a DIY fix for it.

It seems as though he was having area come from some unknown area. Mine is coming from the air vent on the floor where it is suspose to come from. The only problem is that even if I sent it on manuel to come from the floor it produces warmer air then the top air vents do or the passanger floor vent as well. If I have no air on at all hot air comes from the same driver side vent

If you read his DIY posts, you will see that he had the exact problem you do. Read it carefully.
