oh no. Not this again.

If anything you're probably going to see worse performance and worse gas mileage if you try to use 100 octane on our cars. Unless you are FI of course. The vehicle isn't designed for that, it will be difficult to ignite the fuel if it is 100 octane.

But I guess whatever you like to put in it really

I personally use Chevron. When i was on east coast it was only Mobil 1. But that was in my MR2.

I believe there is a station in Beverly Hills that sells 110 racing fuel.

I've always used Amoco 93.

Amoco has now changed to BP.

Octane 91 at Sunoco and Esso (Mobil/Exxo?) Highest octane i've seen is 94 at Sunoco.

I have a speedpass, but since Mobil/Exxon only has 93 in my area (no mobil/Exxon 91 octane) and since the gas prices are up there I switched.

Now it's Sunoco 91.

I would also like to add that 93 octane is not "better for your car" than 91 octane.
Hopefully you guys realize that the "octane rating" is just describing the anti-knock rating of the fuel...

I wouldn't bother with that madchef. The topic has been beaten to death and people would still continue to put 100 octane in their car if it was the same price as 93.

Yeah. It's funny, Chevron and Exxon own most of the oil rigs that pump the oil up. Then Exxon owns most of the ships that transport it. Chevron owns the main pipeline that pumps the oil down the wes coast of the U.S. and from Alaska. Then when it gets to Los Angeles at least (don't know of the cities north of us that have refineries. It's all brought into the refinery that's owned and run by ARCO! Then distributed to all the gas stations in southern Cali.

Then I've been seeing Valero gas stations poppin up lately too.
