I guess I'm not fully understanding how this works- you mentioned you achieved a 4th round win against a new generation Corvette although it's quarter mile time was better?

Also what was your technique? Did you use MM mode did you brake torque.
Congrats on the final 4 spot

Isn't 14.7ish a bit slow for a G35? I thought I've seen stock G35 5AT pull 14.2-14.4s? Temperature related?

its not about the fastest time in bracket racing, its how close you come to your dial in time

in bracket racing you "dial" in a time that you think you may run. I think the slower car takes off first and the faster car goes after a certain amount of time (the difference in dial in)....though i may be wrong and they may just both go at the same time and the person who comes closer to their dial in wins.

The closer you are to your dial time and getting to the finishline wins. So if my dial time was 16.0 secs and I ran against a bike with a dial time of 9.2 secs. The bike has to launch about 7~9 secs after I launch from the line. I hit the finish line first in 16.01 secs and he get 10.1 secs, I win because I finished first and closest to my dial time.

need more info! Your times are usually slow...I'm sure that's for a reason other than your driving skills cuz you seem to have your car dialed in...ELEVATION OF TRACK, AMBIENT TEMP, HUMIDITY...other than that...way to rep the G's.

What were your reaction times? I always liked to see a G in bracket competition since they are NA and very consistent in 1/4 mile times. At Z day I was surprised that more didn't try for the bracket racing.

Know that your car is built well for this kind of racing. If you improve your skills you might see many more trophies.

to Blesser- 14.2-14.4, not sure why my G35 doesnt hit those times. My car has no mods, no intake, exhaust or anything. I launch by brake torque. im hoping to hit low 14s with intake, exhaust and headers later on. I have notice inconsistencies with the 1/4 time in 350zs also at the track. I have seen an automatic z run 14.1 at infineon and a manual at sacramento at 14.2. the automatic z though had some bolt ons like intake and exhaust while the manual did not have one. my reaction times-.085, .346, .105, .106,.093, .034. the article about that day can be found here- (under the trophy category) oh yeah and I forgot to mention a lady won the whole thing, with her el camino running 10 secs.

Congratulations on your finish, man. I didn't mean to rain on your parade or anything... I am just new to the G35 scene and was a bit curious!
