Well, it should be no surprise that the coupe beats a sedan. At least for the 04 models, the coupe was 280HP vs. the sedan's 260, if I remember right.

Besides, even if the coupe was slower, it just looks so much better doing it that it wouldn't matter

What was the temperature/humidity that day? Just curious...

I was able to pull 14.6 on a 95 degree/67% humidity day.
Other than that, assuming that both cars are stock, it's a drivers race (as you can obviously see in the clip).

I had a great time, Yes both cars were stock except we both had 19 inch wheels on, about 80 degree weather, very windy at that parcticular race. I think on stock wheels which im going to put them back on and cooler wheather i think i can do about 14.3 or 14.4.
By the way Toptoneone that was the closest race i have ever been in.

I would love for someone to tell us how to adjust time. how do you figure out sea level and all that stuff? I dont know what the hummidity was but my outside temp gauge said 86.. It was a great race the sedan keep up well it was pretty much who launched first won. All the other g's were running in the 15's every time. The people driving in the g's even came and asked me how I was runing faster times then they were. Here is my cardomain page.

In that video, I saw the Coupe run a 14.60 and the Sedan run a 14.66.
Very close and was probably a driver's race.

Its actually pretty sad that a 04 sedan with 260 hp can come that close to beating a 280hp coupe...You would think the 05 sedans would be beast! bump of 38hp.

"driver's race" meaning, one with a 150lbs slim driver and the other with a 280lbs
blob.

I think G35 Sedan at 260 hp is underated. Its pretty much the same engine.

Just like 287hp for the Z & 280hp for G35 coupe. They are pratically identical (I mean identical) engine.

G35 Sedan also dyno's pretty close to G35 coupe.

I think this video shows that the sedan is as fast as a coupe it is a serious drivers race. whoever launches first wins. when all things are equal like stock vs stock.

i do believe the Sedan is a 05 one..
if it is a 6mt, it should have been 298 bhp.
With regards to the 1/4mile time
I do think that it was really a driver's race.

Cheers
